SUCCEED AT TREATING WORK-COMP PATIENTS

(Increasing your income at the same time)

These seminars cover:
Workers Compensation System overview, the acupuncturist roll; increase referrals from Primary Treating Physicians; understand MTUS (Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule) and AMTG (Acupuncture Medical Treatment Guidelines); greatly improved the approvals rate for your requests; effectively appeal denials, etc…

Personal cases are discussed so the provider can understand why care was not approved/paid and what it can be done about it…

Instructors:
Alejandro Katz, OMD. QME. L. Ac. MD. (Argentina) has 32-plus years of experience in the acupuncture field, 25+ years working in the workers compensation arena and for 20+ Utilization Review companies.

Kathy Agharabei, LVN. (nurse case manager) has broad experience in workers compensation acupuncture authorizations. Kathy has 80+% in approvals/certifications for her acupuncture requests (15 acupuncture clinics).

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Acupuncturists that are interested in understanding the workers compensation system, increasing the number of patients seen and increasing their income. If you understand your roll in the system, you will be able to network efficiently, increasing your patient load.
